![]() It appears that I have to copy my mp3s onto the Qmedia directory.Īt the moment, they are organised in iTunes format, which is typically by Artist and Album (in subfolders). Has anyone successfully managed to get this sort of set up working before, because my suspicion is that it's not possible to have iTunes manage the Qmultimedia folder (unless I build separate m3u playlist and link to each individual subfolder - which is going to horrible). This suggests that I need to put the music files into the Qmultimedia folder, but the formats are very different. However, I also want to use the same source files so that my PS3 can connect to the Twonkyserver (for both pictures/photos/videos and music - but let's just keep it easy with music for the time being). This is relatively straightforward because I can redirect my iTunes library to the QNAP (although it appears my 2* Apple Macs get upset when they both try and manage the same music library source). This means iTunes needs to to be able to access my files directly. I appreciate that I can use LAME for a) but I'd prefer a single interface for everything. My problem is that I'd like a single music library source! Roku Soundbridge (will connect to either iTunes or Twonky/UPnP) QNAP 219P (running iTunes server and Twonky) I've looked on this forum and I cannot find a post that has specifically answered this point, so I'm wondering whether you can please point me in the right direction.
